DateYay uses only what it needs to work. We don’t use advertising or profiling cookies, so we don’t need to ask for your consent.
1. In short
A few technical cookies keep you signed in and remember your language. Invitations save your progress in your browser. Statistics are anonymous and cookieless.
2. Technical cookies
better-auth.session_token: keeps you signed in to your account, for up to 7 days of inactivity.
NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose, for up to one year.
3. Storage in your browser
When you answer an invitation, your browser keeps your progress during the visit and, if you’re offline, the answer until it can be sent. This data stays on your device and is removed once it’s no longer needed.
4. Statistics
On the public site we use Plausible, which counts visits in aggregate without cookies and without collecting personal data. Invitations and your personal area are not measured.
5. Your choices
You can delete cookies from your browser settings at any time. Without the session cookie you’ll need to sign in again. For questions write to [email protected].
