Terms of service

These terms apply when you use DateYay. By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
DateYay lets you create interactive invitations, share them with a link and receive the answers. The person you invite doesn’t need an account.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 18 years old and to give a valid email address. Keep access to your email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in to your account.
3. Respect
Use DateYay only to invite people who would be happy to hear from you. A “no” is a valid answer. You may not use the service to harass, threaten, deceive or send unwanted messages, or to share content that is illegal, hateful or that violates someone else’s rights.
4. Your content
What you write and upload stays yours. You give us the permission needed to store it and show it to the people you share the link with. You’re responsible for having the rights to the photos you upload.
5. Plans and payments
Free is free. Plus is a one-off payment that unlocks a single invitation, cannot be moved to another one and lasts as long as the invitation exists. Pro is a subscription that renews every month or year until you cancel it; cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Prices include VAT and payments are processed by PayPal.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you’re a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Plus is delivered as soon as the payment is confirmed: by buying it you ask us to start straight away and you accept that the right of withdrawal ends once it is unlocked. For Pro, if you withdraw within 14 days of the first payment, write to [email protected] and we’ll refund the unused part.
7. Reports and suspension
Anyone can report an invitation that breaks these rules. We can switch off invitations and suspend accounts that violate them, without a refund in serious cases. You can stop using DateYay and delete your account at any time.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep DateYay available and reliable, but we can’t guarantee it will always be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and you can go to the courts there.
